Jon Hegel is a film composer and saxophonist based in  Denver, Colorado. He has written scores for several narrative and documentary films including 78/52: Hitchcock’s Shower Scene (2017) and You Can Call Me Bill (2023).

His most recent soundtrack for the documentary Chain Reactions (2024) premiered at the 2024 Venice Film Festival and won the Venice Classics Best Documentary.award.
